| Engine Power Components is your one source for machining of any type of camshaft
materials including Grey Iron, Ductile Iron, Selectively Austempered Ductile Iron,
Assembled, Chilled Grey Iron, Chilled Ductile Iron, Steel Bar, or Steel Forging. In
addition, we actively embrace and develop new technology in the quest for higher value
valve train components. This includes work on materials, including the development of a
new camshaft material, used for the first time in a camshaft designed and developed by
Engine Power Components technical staff. Additionally, our constant exploration of new
solutions has allowed us to create a better wearing camshaft lobe through our Laser
Re-melt Development Program. With these technologies, we are able to design and build more
aggressive lobe profiles that are so important with today’s critical emissions. |

| Engine Power Components has full in-house capabilities for machining camshafts up to
200mm in diameter and 1,200mm in length, including heat treatment, zinc and manganese
phosphate facilities. With over 85 production camgrinding machines, we have adequate
capacity to satisfy significant requirements, for both long-term serial production or
short-term assists. |
